Vibe 1 to host Westbridge Park re-opening

£1.5 million has been spent on the redevelopment in Stone.

Stone's Westbridge Park will officially re-open on Saturday 27th April following a £1.5 million redevelopment.

The work was completed in December 2023 and includes new play facilities for all ages, a bespoke concrete wheeled sports facility, Multi Use Games Area, upgraded and refurbished car parks, extensive new pathway way network with routes of varying lengths around the park, new signage, new street furniture, picnic areas, on site toilets, enhanced landscaping and planting, key space for local events and football pitches.

The new-look Westbridge Park will be officially opened by The Mayor of Stafford Borough, Councillor Andy Cooper, and there will be a range of activities taking place throughout the park from 10am on the day to celebrate this fantastic new development which is now fully open.

Vibe 1 will be hosting the event with Paul Dean and the Vibe 1 street crew taking care of proceedings, plus we'll be broadcasting 'Live' throughout the day.

Everyone is welcome to the official opening event which will run until 2pm.

If you are a local group or organisation that would like to be involved in the day you are encouraged to email; smcdonald@staffordbc.gov.uk
