The Vibe 1 Mid Morning Show with Ray Crowther, weekdays 10am - 12pm.

Ray will take you into the afternoon with great music, local information, chat, interesting guests and interviews, and you can test your knowledge with the local trivia at 11:15am each day.

Ray has vast experience and is a familiar voice and face around the area. Having started out his radio life at Signal Radio in the 1980's, he went on to successfully present Signal Stafford's Breakfast Show for many years. Before he returned to Signal in the early to mid 00's, Ray launched the original Stafford FM at Gaol Mews back in 2001. Since then, he's kept his hand in at the radio station but only recently returned to his spiritual home in January 2023 to take on the Mid Morning Show.
We caught up with Ray and asked him some questions;
What school did you go to?
Kingston and Graham Balfour.
Did you always want to be on the radio?
No, I didn't think I was good enough.
If you weren't at Stafford FM, what would you be doing?
Intensive care, or Coronary care nurse.
Who do you admire the most?
John Evington (former Signal Radio Programme Director)

What do you love about Stafford?
The history and heritage, and my good friends who live or were brought up here.
