It was a day to forget for Town in the local derby at Silkmore Lane.

Alex Curtis' men continue to push for promotion with Stafford were on the wrong end of a thrashing in the Bank Holiday Monday fixture.

Chritsian Blanchette opened the scoring for the Badgers and it wasn't long before Lewis Rowley doubled their advantage.
Morgan Payne added a third for Brocton when Luke Haddaway stroked a shot home before Tom Duffy inflicted more  misery on Town by making it 5-0.

Town are rooted near the foot of the table.
