T20 Charity cricket match featuring Niall Keatings All Star eleven at Eccleshall Cricket Club

Eccleshall Cricket Club and Niall Keating are joining forces to bring an exciting T20 charity cricket match to the Roy Thomson Memorial Ground, Eccleshall.

The event, set to take place on Saturday 23rd September from 11am promises to be a wonderful day of sporting fun, delicious food, and family entertainment, with some celebrity faces along the way, all in support of two exceptional charities: the Jason Robinson Foundation and local charity Katherine House Hospice.

The T20 cricket match will showcase a clash between a specially formed Eccleshall Cricket Club side and renowned chef Niall Keating's All Star Eleven, made up of some much-loved sportsmen and women all competing for a great cause. For sports fans, the event will see the worlds of cricket and rugby collide with the rugby World Cup matches being screened throughout the day, as well as rugby legend Jason Robinson being confirmed as one of the players for Niall’s line up in support of his foundation. Other confirmed players include opening batter for England Danni Wyatt, England hockey player and Olympic gold medalist Susannah Townsend MBE, former professional boxer Luke Campbell MBE and Bath rugby player Tom Dunn.

In addition to the sporting entertainment, Niall Keating's food truck, the Paradise Carriage, will be serving alongside other food offerings to keep guest’s tastebuds satisfied. Drinks, music, and an amazing selection of raffle prizes will round out the day's festivities, making it an event not to be missed!

"We are thrilled to partner with Niall Keating for this exciting T20 charity cricket match," said Dave Lakin, representative from Eccleshall Cricket Club. "Not only will it be a fantastic day of cricket and family fun, but it also provides an opportunity for us to support two incredible charities. We are passionate about giving back to our community, and this event allows us to showcase that."

“I am very excited to join forces with Eccleshall Cricket Club to bring an exciting team together to help raise money for a great cause” expressed Niall Keating, 2-star Michelin chef and team captain. “As a big fan of both cricket and rugby I understand the power both sport and food can have in supporting important causes so aim to help provide an unforgettable experience.”
