The popular band take to the stage this weekend at Cannock Chase
Madness kick off weekend of concerts
'What's that noise I can hear from my house?' you may ask.
80's & 90's ska favourites, Madness, take to the stage this weekend to kick off this years popular Forest Concerts Live at Cannock Chase.
The band - fronted by Suggs are due to entertain thousands on Thursday evening (8th June) - and they will be followed on Friday evening by the legendary Modfather, Paul Weller.
The sell out concerts is a music series that visits natural woodland arenas around the country. Last year, Forestry England was able to plant 6.8 million trees and care for the country's 1,500 woods and forests thanks to events such as Forest Live.
The entertainment continues right across the weekend with Irish singer and songwriter, Tom Grennan and acoustic sensation Jack Savoretti.
The bands will play on the natural amphitheatre at Birches Valley across the weekend.
It follows the successful return of the show last year, which saw Texas, Sam Ryder, Keane, Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds and Rag 'n' Bone Man perform to large crowds on Cannock Chase, and the weather is set to be almost perfect for this year's Forest Live.
