Join us in Stafford Town Centre for a free, family-friendly celebration of the townâs rich history! By the Stafford Town Centre Partnership and Stafford Borough Council, this exciting event invites you to explore Staffordâs fascinating past while enjoying activities, performances, and historical experiences throughout the day.

Weâd love for you to get involved! If your business has a unique story, trade, or craft, help bring Staffordâs history to life. Decorate your shop windows with pictures and memorabilia, add bunting for a festive feel, and share the journey of your trade with visitors. Free pitches are available for local businesses to showcase their products.

đ Historical Tours â Visit iconic landmarks including St Maryâs Church, St Chadâs, The High House, and The Alms Houses, with expert guides bringing Staffordâs past to life.
đť Ghost Tours â Discover Staffordâs eerie and mysterious past. and Stafford Ghostbusters will be on hand !
đ Vibe 1 Radio Roadshow Market Square
đ Talks & Presentations â Engage with local history experts at The Gatehouse and at Stafford Library Joy Stephens-Blank will share her experiences from teaching at Stafford Prison.
This presentation is sure to provide a fascinating glimpse into the educational system operating within the prison service.

đď¸ Family-Friendly Activities â The Staffordshire History Centre Step into the activity room for a pop-up exhibition exploring the history of Victoria Park Stafford and enjoy free, family-friendly craft activities. Throughout the day, there will also be spotlight talks showcasing fascinating historical artefacts from Staffordâs past.

St Chadâs Church â Staffordâs oldest building, dating back to the 12th century.
The Collegiate Church of St Mary â A stunning Grade I listed church with rich history.
Ancient High House â Englandâs largest timber-framed townhouse, with activities for all ages.
đ Special Feature: Parkinsonâs UK Stafford Branch will be celebrating their 40th anniversary with an awareness and fundraising event in Market Square, including a classic car filled with balloons for a âguess the number of balloonsâ competition.
