UF-No's

Tuesday 11th April 2023.

We found ourselves briefly chatting about UFO and unexplained TV shows on Breakfast this morning. Pretty randomly, Jackie came on to tell us about her sighting about 20 years ago down Rickerscote Road - that made her walk into a lamppost. Kind of thing I'd do to be honest.

This all came about because I ended up watching some 'Unexplained Mysteries' on Netflix last night. I think we all find ourselves intrigued by these sorts of phenomena, but we could probably save ourselves the time we spend watching them by just not watching them. They are kind of pointless programmes, aren't they? EVERY. SINGLE. One of them lures you in with the mindset that after watching it you'll be more informed - and maybe... just maybe (you tell yourself) it WILL be explained. However, by the end of it you're left hanging. We still don't know if little green men are visiting us despite the dozens - if not hundreds of shows investigating them there are out there to watch.

That all said - the story my mum and dad once told me (which they swore by) always sticks in the mind. They were adamant they followed a UFO along the A518 towards Gnosall some years back (1970's). They claim to have watched it hover... speed off... hover again.... then shoot up and disappear. I don't doubt it was a UFO... and that's my point to these programmes. They are ALL UFO's because they are all Unidentified Flying Objects... but what we don't know, and probably never will, is whether they are being flown by 'something' from another universe.

That's my rambling for today, before I get abducted (you wish!)
