If you're a fan of British action thrillers, look out for Take Cover, the new movie by Stafford Director Nick McKinless.
In the film, a burned-out professional sniper (Scott Atkins) finds himself trapped in an all-glass penthouse by a lethal competitor and must find a way to survive and escape with little to no cover between him and the killer.
Nick McKinless, who's a regular listener to Vibe 1 said, "I actually started my stunt career in 1996 doing live shows,1998 was my first film. Take Cover is my first feature film. I’ve directed commercials and music videos and short films and action units before, but this is my first feature film".
Nick has previously worked as a Stunt Coordinator/Actor since 2001, when he appeared as 'Thug' in Crocodile Dundee in Los Angeles. Nick's other credits include Transformers: The Last Knight, Kingsman: The Golden Circle, Beauty and the Beast, The Legend of Tarzan and many others including The Bourne Ultimatum where Nick won Outstanding Performance by a Stunt Ensemble in a Motion Picture at The Screen Actors Guild Awards.
Scott Atkins from Sutton Coldfield, has starred on TV and in feature films like Undisputed 2: Last Man Standing. The Bourne Ultimatum and The Tournament, and played Jean-Claude Van Damme's main adversary in Sony Pictures The Shepherd.
Also starring is Alice Eve, daughter of actors Trevor Eve and Sharon Maughan, Alice began her career with supporting roles in the films Hawking and Stage Beauty, later appearing in Starter for 10, She's Out of My League, Men in Black 3, Star Trek Into Darkness, Bombshell and many others
Jack Parr (Peaky Blinders) and Billy Clements (Fast X) also star.
