45 years ago this week on 24/25/26th June 1978, David Bowie played 3 nights at Stafford's Bingley Hall (tickets for the show were £4.50 inc VAT), as part of his world tour. These photos of Bowie on stage at Bingley Hall appeared in the Stafford Newsletter shortly after the gigs - if memory serves me correctly I think these were taken by Dana Reekie, who's father Tom ran Reekie's of Stafford which used to be in Bridge Street, as she worked for the Newsletter as a photographer around this time.
